Although this time of year can get quite stressful, it’s important to take time aside for yourself and your health. Whether this is taking the time to cook a healthful meal, or taking a mental break and reading a quiet book alone, the body needs time to rest and recharge after a lot of activity. A great way to take a quick break to re-energize your mind and body, is to schedule a yoga session to force your brain to take a much needed vacation from all of the holiday hustle and bustle.

If you are running on fumes, think about taking just 1 hour out of your day to recharge and relax. Remember, creating a calming atmosphere is just as important as the yoga itself! Find some relaxing music and a quiet room, or even consider using earbuds if quiet spaces are hard to come by this holiday.

For Kiddos

Don’t forget the kids! Kids can have fun with yoga too! It helps them connect with their bodies and teaches them the importance of self-care and physical activity.
